Misperception

When I first moved to Poolesville I entered the second grade in the middle of the year. My first day i was really excited because i was in the same classroom as my cousin. When i arrived they were at speacials so I had a chance to get settled before they came back. When they came back from specials Mrs. dunkleberger introduced me to the class. One of the students asked me if i was an Indian. He mad this perception because i was wearing fall colors and had my hair in long Indian braids. I said, "NO I'm NOT, I'm Daniels cousin!!!" but he still didn't believe me he insisted that I was an Indian. At first i felt really bad because i was new and just wanted to be accepted by my classmates, but then I got over it and now me and this boy are friends.
